Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Waywords, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Waywords is a journaling application that provides guided breathing, atmospheric environments, and a distraction-free writing space. The service is provided for personal, reflective use.

Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all journal entries and content you create within Waywords. Your entries are private and visible only to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. You may delete your entries or your entire account at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or journal entries.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service's servers, security, or functionality.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the app.
  • Use automated systems to access the service in ways that exceed normal use.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Waywords available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time. We are not liable for any interruption or loss of data resulting from service changes or outages.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe your activity poses a risk to the service or other users.

Waywords is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. The app is not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waywords and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
